i'm still here. just a little behind on posting. the boys are still on vacation, and as my sister says, "camp mom" is in session :)

Nia's sister signed her up for this portrait session. It turns out that Nia goes to the same middle school my boys attend, AND she is best friends with Emily, my really good friend, Kim's daughter. Small world.

also known as a comp card, a zed card is a marketing tool for actors and models. it serves as their portfolio and business card. i've been offering zed card sessions/design/printing for some time now. usually, the talent is already represented by an agent and/or manager by the time they book a session with me. here is an example from a recent shoot:

in a typical commercial/theatrical talent headshot session, a makeup artist, hair and clothing stylist is needed. in this session, however, the mom played all three roles with a help of a friend. the props are all their own.
