this was taken with my handy-dandy point-and-shoot Canon. the lens had smudges from our trip to yosemite, hence the cloudy quality of the images.

she escaped from mom and wandered into the studio, looked up and saw the enormous glowing lanterns hanging from the ceiling. she stared with fascination, stood in the same spot for quite some time. i softly say hello, careful not to startle her, then she rewards me with this beautiful, dimply smile. of course, i fall in love...

Introducing...Lara Avengoza, an amazing new talent. These were shot at my house a few weeks ago with the help of the fabulous Liza Macawili and director Jet Montelibano of Creative Concepts. The images are going to be used for her demo CD and promotional materials on her upcoming tour.

the coach + team mom

and the mascot, Nutmeg...

That 's how I met this lovely family. He was my younger son's baseball coach, and she was the team mom this past season, and their twin boys were on the team! Back from their summer vacation, we set up a shoot one sunny morning at their home. We had beautiful light in the backyard.
